Art is not always fully understood when the finished piece is revealed. Sometimes, the most meaningful part of a project happens along the way, the questions, experiments, conversations, unexpected challenges, and discoveries that shape the work.
In this space, I share what happens behind my interdisciplinary art practice, particularly my public art and community-based sculptural projects exploring plastic and our relationship with materials.
Each project teaches me something new. Through making, collaborating, experimenting, and sometimes rethinking my original ideas, I continue to discover new ways of working and new questions to explore.
These posts are an opportunity to look beyond the finished artwork and into the process behind it: what inspired a project, what I experienced while creating it, what I learned from the community, and what changed along the way.
Some reflections may come during a project, while others may emerge after the work is completed and I have had time to look back at the experience.
This is an evolving part of my practice; a place to share the journey, not just the final result.
